Can COVID-19 be transmitted through food?
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) “there is no evidence to support the spread of COVID-19 through food.” Here on-site we are taking the proper precautions to make sure that you and your family are safe and healthy.
What precautions are you taking to ensure my health and safety?
Your family’s health and safety is our number one priority. All team members are subject to daily COVID screenings prior to entry into the facility. They are also required to frequently wash their hands, wear clean gloves, and protective gear. Shoes are sanitized using our Sani-Mat prior to entry. Our chef is required to cover her head with a hair net before handling any food. In addition, all team members are required to wear facemasks at all times.
What precautions are you taking when customers pick-up their meals or when you are delivering meals?
Our team members follow strict hygiene protocols which include frequent handwashing, wearing face masks, and regularly disinfecting all surfaces that they come into contact with. In addition, we conduct COVID screenings for all staff members prior to entry into the facility. When you arrive on-site to pick up your meal, all customers must be wearing a mask. We have physical distancing markers at the front entrance that are adhered to. A staff member wearing a mask will greet you at the door and hand you your meal. If your meal is getting delivered, a team member will arrive at your home wearing a mask and depending on your preference, leave your meal at your doorstep or hand it off to you at your door.
