Meet the Chef
Meet the Chef:
Chef Annie comes to us originally from the Commonwealth of Dominica, in the Eastern Caribbean. She acquired her cooking skills at the age of 15 from the St. Martin Vocational School in Dominica where she studied food and nutrition. Everything she learnt, she practiced, and sold it. Chef Annie has a passion for preparing delicious meals that she cooks with love.
In 2010, Chef Annie migrated to the USA, where she worked for 3 years with Butter Beans, a food catering company which provided healthy meals to schools in New York City. In between breaks and holidays she often travelled to Washington D.C. and worked at Bright Start. Eventually, Chef Annie relocated to DC to be Bright Starts permanent Top Chef.
She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification from the Council for Professional Recognition, and Food Management Certificate from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. She is delighted to provide healthy sumptuous, kid-approved family meals with a Carribean twist. She also hosts private catering events for big and small occasions.
“Keeping it simple, keeping it real, and staying healthy” bon appetit!!!
